Diese Woche gibt es wieder Neues von Sammy D, Ryan Williams und Michael Tello, vielleicht den meißten besser bekannt als Pillow Talk, die drei machen ja bekanntlich was sich wollen, halten sich dabei nicht an Genre und sind eher eine Mischung aus Pop, Jazz, Elektronika, Nu Disco und allem was den Herren noch so in den Kram passt. Der Mix diese Woche ist den Herren von PillowTalk allerdings auch sehr gelungen.

San Franciscan trio PillowTalk dish out this weeks mix; a sublime hour long work out which perfectly showcases their wonderfully unique sound. Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello's fusion of classic underground house along with modern RnB and boogie flexes all began by jamming around a baby grand piano in a kitchen about a year ago, and now can be heard on labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Life and Death, and Visionquest. Their alluring and charming pop-dance songs are inspired by anyone from the Beach Boys to Larry Heard, and we just can't get enough of them. This podcast is class from start to finish; an absolutely essential listen.
