Sasch der sich bereits durch Releases auf Crosstown Rebels und Neurotraxx Deluxe einen Namen als Produzent gemacht hat, setzt auch in seinem ersten Release für Steyoyoke auf Deep House Sound. I Just Want ist ein gut gelungener Open Air Deep House Track, mit seinem warmen Vocal, seinen leichten Disko-Elementen und der groovigen Bassline. Come On überzeugt vor allem durch seine starke liebevolle Melodie, die schon fast ähnlich eines Popmusik Songs den Track mit sehr viel wärme füllt. Noch gerade so dem Deep House zuzuordnen ist Marian, ein schöner Track mit progressivem Aufbau und einem absolut bezaubernden Synthie.
Fazit:
Schönes, bestens sommergeeignetes Release des Berliner Labels.

Three divine tracks comprise the latest offering from Steyoyoke, titled 'Back and Forth'.
Using numerous alias's with releases on such labels as Crossworld Records and Neurotraxx Deluxe, Sasch has built himself a reputable name as a skilled producer, his first release on Steyoyoke, certainly is a prove. Oozing with bright flavours and sun drenched grooves, 'Back and Forth' is a sharp-edged tool for those summer sets, rich in glowing synth lines and warm atmospheres.
The EP kicks off in high spirits with 'I Just Want'. Horn stabs, a funky bassline and crisp vocals rise through the glowing synth which all culminate in a dance-floor bomb.
'Come On' combines a delectable guitar lead with laid back melodies and fluttering synth pads. A perfectly refined tune brimming with notions of summer and serenity.
Closing the EP in style is 'Marian', a breezy blend of swirling synths, uplifting vocals and a driving lead all drenched in a heavenly percussion.
The fourth release on Steyoyoke continues the label's run of quality house music brimming with new flavours. 'Back and Forth' provides a dashingly bright endeavour and is a perfect fit for the sommer!
